Thanks for the update buddy - Ernie Davis is one of the best players who never got a chance to play in the NFL because he died of leukemia at the age of 23. He not only was the first African-American to win the Heisman Trophy but also was the first African-American to get picked #1 overall in the NFL draft.
The #44 became the most famous number in Syracuse history thanks to Davis, and it's crazy to think that the Browns drafted him to play with Jim Brown (another Syracuse great) in the same backfield. Can't wait to see this movie
