The scene.  Cards Cubs.  Bottom 9th. Home plate Ump (Chump) decides it time to call an outside strike 4 times in a row that he has called ball all nite.  FUK U DO ME.  Stops the Cards rally.  No, that not why they lost, but its sure why they didnt have a chance to win.

Great game overall.  Zman back from DL pitches brilliant.  Lost is Lopper great performance just 2 HR mistakes. The rivalry lives.  Sorry NY and BOS, this is about baseball, not all that other crap you hate each other for. 

It changed a few years ago, I dont know all the details.  whoever was in charge of the Umps had it under control, then he was out.  NOw, a team has no idea if its there turn to get screwed into the ground, but rest assured, you will.

And these azzholes when behind the plate want to fight.  I mean it.  Troy Glaus got hosed bad on two pitches and of courses grouses and grouses---even CUb fans saw it...and the schmuck keeps looking in the dugout for a chance to run him or worse.

I am tired of it, not just for my team, but MPB will be no better than the NBA if this shit doesnt stop.  Question is Who and/or How will it stop???  The game is being ruined.  A classic rivalry game was affected by a bigshot Ump tonight.  Who knows what would happen if he were consistent.  Probably the same outcome.  But we'll never know.

 Mark O, watch what should have been the end of the Yanks/Sox game today. Coco clearly caught Jeter's fly ball, but the 2nd base ump called it a trap and it turned into an rbi double. You are right, the umps do blow this year.

Saw BBTN and saw that they are all blind or getting their cut from Vegas Runner's guys.  But the worst is behind the plate.  And its every freakin nite somewhere, some p#%ck has an attitude or shuts a game down.  IAM calling them out.  Can they be just this bad, or is someone getting a few dinero to close a game out.

I am NOT bemoaning the Cards loss.  Matty OShea will get that.  But this crap is so evident.  Its gonna take Arlen Spector five years to get involved.  Hank bitches all the time...wait till they get nailed, although, the umps are either intimidated by the Yanks or in their pocket.

 Anyone think Im just blowing smoke?  I got dozens of examples, and if youve actually been watching you would too.

On a side note, MLB.com has their Beat The Streak contest (Pick one player to get a base hit each day, which was run here until lackluster participation killed it) where you win $1,000,000 if you can pick 58 straight hitters, and some dude had 48 in a row going into tonight and his hitter was Ichiro Suzuki.  Ichiro was 0-3 heading into the the bottom of the 8th inning and got plunked by Kenny Rogers, take your base, hitless night.  I bet the dude that took Ichiro tonight is already constructing a Kenny Rogers voodoo doll

MarkO, I was just kidding around with you. Trust me, I've been bitten already by some bad calls. I didn't see the Cards game tonight but I did see the Red Sox game and that call was awful. I needed the Yanks to win and even I jumped out of my seat when Crisp made that catch. Any moron could see it was a catch. It was a terrible call.
