Lost the Triple last night (won overall in MLB doing something I KNOW we shouldn't do, take a home team -1.5. However, the afternoon win, the Fish, and the D-Backs kept us in the game. I like this one this PM - and an even stronger one tonight.
Tigers/Twins UNDER 8.5:
We know what Fulmer is capable of - but the real reason(s) is that fact that the Twins pitching staff has a .185 batting average against with a 2.07 ERA to this point. Yes, it'll regress - but in MLB it's about right now. Add that to the fact that the Tigers are hitting .213.
Did you know that the Royals are hitting .195 and have scored 21 runs in 7 games (pretty close to 3 runs per game) and are -120 favorites today. Their bullpen has an ERA this week of 7.77. So, I don't think we can take them.
Did you know that Toronto is hitting .196 and has four home runs this season, does NOT have their closer, and yet is -220 to a National League team that now gets a designated hitter in Toronto. Just sayin'.
Did you know that Pittsburgh has hit three out of the park this season and barely averaging more than three runs per game, and yet just got blasted from -150 to -170 against one of the hottest teams in baseball.
