NFL Pro Bowl
AFC vs. NFC (-4, 78.5) (8 pm ET, ESPN)
This game is being played in Orlando, Florida instead of the previous Honolulu, Hawaii location. It is also a change in format back to the AFC vs. NFC matchup as opposed to the non-conference draft format of the past three years.
The NFC opened as a 4-point favorite and the line has held steady. They are favored due to a stronger quarterback rotation. Matt Ryan and Aaron Rodgers are not playing, but Drew Brees (Saints) and Kirk Cousins (Redskins) are solid replacements, along with rookie Dak Prescott (Cowboys). The NFC also has a strong running backs with the top two rushers in the league, Ezekiel Elliott (Cowboys) and Jordan Howard (Bears). They also have solid receivers with Odell Beckham Jr (Giants) and Dez Bryant (Cowboys).
The AFC has a weaker quarterback rotation as their top three choices of Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger, and Derek Carr are not playing. This means the AFC will have to go with Alex Smith (Chiefs), Andy Dalton (Bengals), and Philip Rivers (Chargers) who led the league in interceptions. Wide receiver is also thin as Antonio Brown, Amari Cooper, and A.J. Green are not playing.
The AFC is coached by Andy Reid (Chiefs), while the NFC is coached by Jason Garrett (Cowboys). The Over/Under opened 82.5 and has dropped four points lower, mainly due to the AFC's lack of passing power. However, this is historically a high-scoring game and the previous three AFC vs. NFC matchups totaled 97, 100, and 96 points.
