Tonight's 2* play is on:
Baltimore Ravens
The
Falcons are 4-0 this season at home. Yep, 4-0. The Ravens are 2-2 this
year on the road. If both of these are of equal importance, why are the
Falcons only favored by 1 point at most locations? HMMMM says I.
Baltimore is a football team that likes to pound the rock, run the ball,
pound the rock and then throw it over your head.
Each of these
teams enter the game at 6-2 and in first place in their respective
divisions. I like the Falcons this season, as they've been a quality
team. However, I'll take the Ravens in this game because I love their
defense. I also have a big plus written down here next to my "running
game" portion of my capping for Baltimore. Their guys run HARD every
play and they can hit you up with either Ray Rice or Willis McGahee, and
each of them can catch the ball out of the backfield. An awful stat
from last week is that Joe Flacco was sacked four times by the
Dolphisns. Yuck. That can't happen tonight if the Ravens want to win.
I
like Flacco's poise, ability to throw the ball deep and make good
decisions tonight. Ravens run the ball, control the clock, keep
Atlanta's high scoring offense off the field, and win.
Go Ravens.
