362 NEW ORLEANS SAINTS +7 -115 vs 361 CAR
Analysis:
While Carolina remains unbeaten New Orleans' 3 game winning streak has been followed by a 3 game losing streak and at 4-7 the Saints are reduced to playing spoiler. One of the Panthers two ATS losses came in their 27-22 home win over the Saints. It was Carolina's worst defensive effort this season on a yards per play basis by nearly a half yard. Despite their weak defense the Saints still have a potent offense that was held in check on the road in Houston last week. Could the Panthers be feeling some pressure as the last unbeaten team with a chance to make history? Perhaps, but there is much to like about the way Carolina is built and how they play on both sides of the football. But this is a spot in which the Panthers are likely to struggle as they face a defense likely to show improvement in their second game following the firing of former DC Rob Ryan.
