There are certain teams and coaches we just flat out hate if they are not our team. Whether it's the NY Yankees or the U back in the day when the Canes were good, these villains may make our blood boil but with out them sports would be boring. Saban and Bama fit that mode. They are ALWAYS relevant at the end of the year as the CFB Title Game gets closer. This season they looked to be quite vulnerable after getting rocked pretty good in Tuscaloosa by Ole Miss. Then there was the close call with Tennessee two weeks ago, also at home. The track record with this Saban led team is solid. As a PAC-12 fan and a USC rooter, I've always been an SEC hater, feeling the bias of the media was tilted strongly to the SEC. I don't like how they schedule FCS teams late in the season. This year, I was dead wrong when I thought the PAC-12 South would be the best Division in any Conference including the SEC West. I admit that the PAC-12 South has been a tad better than mediocre. Meanwhile Alabama is getting in late season mode and as I wrote in my write-up while picking Bama as my CFB Game of the Year yesterday, Derrick Henry felt he was the best RB in College Football and the Tide front seven would shut down Fournette. Do I love Bama now...heck NO..but at the end of the day, I respect the Organization and I will look to make $$ on them......what's the old saying? If you can't beat'em Join'em!! Like I said at the start, love'em or hate'em Alabama is good for CFB!
