Marlins plus $1.34 at Rays
Congrats if you knew the Marlins own the best record in baseball since Aug. 31 going 17-8. Tampa Bay has lost 15 of 25 games this month after being swept at Toronto.
Tampa Bay has lost three in a row and is playing at home after being on the road for more than a week. Tampa Bay is 3-10 the past 13 times following a road trip of seven or more days.
So it's far from an ideal spot for the Rays, who are playing the string out anxious to end their long, disappointing season.
Matt Moore is going against Miami's hottest pitcher, rookie lefty Adam Conley.
Conley's allowed three or fewer runs in his last six starts posting a 2.70 ERA during this time frame. Miami is 5-0 in Conley's past five outings. The Rays have never faced Conley, which is to their disadvantage.
Moore is on the comeback trail since returning from Tommy John surgery. This is his 11th start. Moore has been up-and-down, which is common in the first season following serious elbow surgery. Moore had an 8.78 ERA in his first six starts and a 3.86 ERA during his past four starts.
The Rays have lost seven of the last eight times Moore has pitched versus below .500 opponents.
I'm looking to bounce back after losing by one run on a Triple Star play backing the underdog Mariners against the road Astros last night. I have a Double Star baseball play going today in addition to this selection. I also have found a Triple Star NFL play on the Sunday menu that is up and available. I posted it early anticipating line movement so this would be a good time to lock in.
All of my plays and packages can be found here: /pregamepros/pro-bettor/bettor.aspx?id=7746#capper.
As always, let's have no bad luck and no bad beats!
