It was indeed a pleasure and honor to join RJ Bell, David Malinsky and Steve Fezzik on a podcast this week talking nearly two hours of NFL football.
What RJ has done by bringing Mr. Malinsky and Fezz on board is made the Pregame Forum a must read every day.
Nowhere on the Internet can you find the daily insights Dave generously brings and shares in his Point Blank column. I have met only two geniuses in my life. Dave is one of them.
I don't think it was a coincidence that when Dave gave out a strong opinion in his Point Blank column that the Ravens-Broncos opening week total was too high that the total moved down that same day.
I recall, too, when NFL opening week numbers first came out Fezzik immediately leading the charge saying the oddsmaker had it totally wrong making the 49ers a favorite against the Vikings. Fezz took some heat for that, but he's been proven right again as the Vikings are currently 2 1/2-point favorites with the line heading to three.
Agree or disagree, Fezz is always compelling to listen to. He knows sports. He knows betting. He knows the market. That's a tough hat trick to top.
RJ works tirelessly to beat the drum for Pregame. Thanks to him, Malinsky, Fezzik and others such as Dave Essler, one of the few to beat baseball for an entire season, and a slew of sharp posters, Pregame is very relevant in the sports gaming information world. I deeply appreciate that RJ is doing all he can to keep Pregame that way.
