White Sox plus $1.02 at Indians
It's just the second time all season that a plus price can be found on Chris Sale. Nothing against Carlos Carrasco, but I'm not going to turn down getting Sale at a value offering, especially given how the first two games of this series have played out and how bad the Indians have been at home.
The White Sox have outscored the Indians, 14-1, in winning the opening two games of this series. Cleveland has lot four in a row at Progressive Field and has the second-worst home mark in the majors at 19-28.
Chicago battered Corey Kluber for six runs Friday night so the White Sox certainly are capable of doing the same to Carrasco. Cleveland has lost 12 of the past 15 times Carrasco has faced a foe with a losing record at home.
Sale had a slow April, but has since come on to join the Cy Young Award discussion. Sale has a 2.34 ERA since May with a 143-to-19 strikeout-to-walk ratio during that time frame. The lefty has the best strikeout rate of his career going this season, which is saying a lot.
The Indians have lost seven of the last nine times they've gone against a southpaw starter.
In addition to this selection, I'm going for my eighth straight winning Triple Star regular-season baseball play today with my Total of the Month. I am on a 12-5 run on my last 17 regular-season premium plays. It can be found here along with my packages: /pregamepros/pro-bettor/bettor.aspx?id=7746#capper.
As always, let's have no bad luck.
