The danger of doing multiple sports is often you don't see key factors in ONE sport that can make you money.
Seemingly no one can score in MLB week1 (and it hasn't even been that cold!), but the last few days we have seen some funky twilight/shadows with weird start times, and it is very clear the market just doesn't price this impact enough.
The Giants went from the open dome AZ launching pad where runs were plentiful, to Petco at a 3:45 local time start. 18 scoreless 1/2 innings later, you were double bagel and into extra Innings.
Today, bettors were UNLOADING on the OVER 8, OVER 8.5 in the Min/CWS game with the wind blowing out. "Not so fast" as the 3:10 start time resulted in shadows across the plate to the mound in the 1st 5 innings......blink, and it's 1-0 in the 5th, and now your bet is about to disappear in the shadows.
One thing I've learned in ALL sports, if you note ONE key factor that the market misses you can make ALOT of money, as all the number crunchers/computer guys who don't enter in the key parameter can get crushed.
By example, those NCAA games in Houston had no chance to get OVER with the bad backdrop.........
On the capping front we are 9-0-2 on my last 11 packages (ok the 2 ties DID lose .22 units) and we wound up going with a four pack of 1* plays today.
Good luck to all today!
