I went 3-1 last night, thanks to some good luck and a BIG ASSIST from Ken Thomson who put me on a best bet CBB winner on Tenn Martin last night. Sometimes when you are struggling, it is better to rely on your friends for help. Actually, if I had just gone for my personal two favorite NBA plays I would have gone 0-2 and that shows again that 2 or more minds are often better than 1, as I chose to leave Phx off my card, and like all the non Spurs home teams, they lost ATS last night.
My favorite play was Memphis catching points vs. the Cavs. Cleveland had been playing great, but they hadn't stepped up on the road vs. top competition all year, and even their one recent road impressive win was a miracle OT win @ Spurs. However, that ALL changed last night.
In this business, and with an 82 game season you don't want to over-react to one game. However, this WAS a big step up game for Memphis, the 4th best team in the League to show they belong as a contender. Further, Memphis had been blown out at Cleveland, and it was a solid payback spot for them. Memphis got BOMBED trailing by 27 late in the 3rd quarter. BOMBED. If Cleveland can have value at a pk-m price @ Memphis in a game like this, then who is going to be able to beat them when they are going to be -7 at home, and -1 on the road vs. top competition in the playoffs? Further, whoever gets out of the West will likely be all banged up/exhausted from tough matchups while the road for Clev is looking so easy in the East with the recent Atl problems........
Not one....Not Two........but a whole lot more rings coming the King's way I think. With our without Love..........
On the capping front, I am passsing on CBB tonight, if you want action, suggest you go with Ken Thomson, who devoted 80% of his capping time (50 hours a week plus on it.....) to CBB!
