Don't get me wrong. I love a good party. However, I HATE SB parties. They are just too damn expensive.
The SB is the one time of the year that the recreational money dwarfs what the pros bet. This results in some crazy betting opportunities, but quite a few of them are the best ON GAME DAY, often THE HOUR before kickoff.......when the public bets the same things on game day (Brady OVER yds, Yes-OT, etc), and there simply aren't many sharps to play back (what sharp wants to wait in line for 40 minutes to get in a bet or two at most properties as post approaches). However, you simply HAVE to make it to the closest STN/Coast/Mgm etc to you if you can pre kickoff.
Then the game kicks off, and every shop is dealing live wagering at each timeout, often with big differences in lines offered. Add it all up, and you have one of THE most profitable games you will have all year long.......... so you drive 80 mph to your home, firing up your computer and apps and start firing in live wagers. When the half hits, you often get some shop or 2 to put up not just a halftime line, but an array of 2h props often completely mispriced.......
Many 'sharps' say 'It's just 1 game, you shouldn't bet more than you do any other game". THis is just about the worst advice I have ever heard! It would be like a poker playing saying "it's just one game, like any other", when he is lucky enough to be in a high limit game with 8 tourists! Bottom line, for Pro Bettors I recommend DO NOT ATTEMPT to enjoy the game. Make money.........and then go have fun Monday.......
On the handicapping front, we hit our $1 capper Winner on the Clippers -11.5 who closed -13.5 and won by 40. Tonight, get my full NBA card (2 plays are up!). Further, my NFL SB Prop package is UP as well!
Let's Roll!
