Just wanted to get these out early as i beleave the line will move. I see GREAT value in both games.
Western Michigan vs Ohio U:Line:OU -4 1/2 Total:140
Here are a few few reasons i like WMU in this spot. David Kool is playing lights out down the stretch and if you guys never seen him play hes a baller. I watched their game on Saturday vs BG and it was probally the best game of the day. David Kool stole the ball with 4 seconds left down 1 and drained the game winner. He refuses to lose and i'll put my money on that any day. Also it seems when OU plays highly defensive teams they never do so well. It seems like their unmature team is fading fast in the MAC. Ohio will be playing this game without Kinney and Washington both still surving suspensions. That only leaves them with 7 scholarship players. With this factor alone i don't think they should be giving points at all. Their a young team as it is and with WMUs highy defensive unit pressing them the whole game i see alot of turnovers in OUs future tomarrow. Projected Scroe:WMU 68 OU 66
Western Michigan + 4 1/2
Akron U vs Central Michigan:Line Akron -3 Total 127 1/2
The first thing that jumps out at me in this game is that this is the 3rd state in 7 days for Akron. They left home Friday night and ran into a big snow storm. The bus ride took a extra 4 hours to get there. Then on Sunday they traveld to Mount Pleasent and did god knows what for damn near 3 days. So this could mean 1 of 2 things. 1 is that they will come out highly motivated from being on the road with the team bonding and what not or what i beleave will happen 2 , that CMU will come out salty after a home loss to Kent St on Saturday and lay the smack down on Akron. I beleave this is when Akrons true colors will be shown. I never thought Akron was good at any point in the season and most definitly not now. CMU is 7-2 at home this year while Akron is 4-3 on the road.
A few milestones will be on the line Tuesday night at The Rose Center as Jordan Bitzer needs just 2 pts to be the 26th player in CMU with 1000 points and Robie Harman needs four 3s to tie the school record for 3s made and with 5 it will give him 200 3 pointers made and the 1st ever in school history to do it and what better place than on his homecourt in his senior season.
I dont think Akron should be giving anybody points at this stretch of the season so i'll gladly take the 3. Projected Score: CMU 67 Akron 65
Central Michigan +3
Best of luck if you fade or follow
