Nice free winner again yesterday with the Jazz, have another in a moment. Today I recall one of the most courageous men to ever grace the earth. Probably more than a little crazy quite frankly but one of the best showman in history. It was on this date that the legendary Evel Knievel remarried. I realize many younger guys don't remember much about the guy but he was truly a living legend for his motorcycle stunts, and accidents. His attempt to jump the fountains at Caesars Palace is maybe the most famous crash in history. You can still go to You Tube and check it out. Also his attempt to jump the snake river canyon in some kind of rocket was quite the scene. The man was the greatest promoter since PT Barnum (Or Stu Feiner). Back then his stunts were a big deal, a real big deal. I had the pleasure of actually having a beer with him once when he was visiting Kansas City. He walked into Kellys, the oldest bar in the Westport section of Kansas City and sat at a table with myself and a few buddies. He was as regular a dude that day as you could imagine. Incredible flair for the dramatic.
Okay, a free winner. Tonight I suggest a small wager on the Lakers catching double digits in Houston. We're going to get ourselves a nice old fashioned back door cover here guys. I can smell it coming. Had the Lakers last night and I'm riding them once again here.
On the business side there are a few things of note. I have a Triple Star loaded up in college football thursday night. I have also been informed I am one of the slashed handicappers, (sounds like a Horror Movie), my seven and thirty day packages are discounted by 20%. I am glad to see some have taken advantage. I also want to thank those on board with the college basketball package the firm is offering. Every single release through March Madness at a reaasonable rate. Every single play, Triples, Rabid Dogs, the whole thing. I broke it down from last season and if the volume is about the same it breaks down to around a buck seventy per selection. I hit 58% last year after 261 plays and ended up 48 units to the good. It's a long season and there will be swings but when the dust settles I feel confident we will be sitting good.
Okay, much work to do. I am working on the NFL for this weekend and have my eye on another Triple. I've hit 78% of the NFL Triples over the past two seasons combined. There is one game that sticks out to me. Just connecting some dots right now making sure everything is as I percieve. Thanks and best of luck as always guys.
