My leg ached just reading today's moment in sports history. Once again, hard to believe it has been this long because I recall the event so vividly. Believe it or not it was on this date back in 1985 that Redskins QB Joe Theismann broke his leg basically in two after being hit by Giants hall of fame linebacker Lawrence Taylor. The injury brought an abrupt end to his 12 year NFL career. We all see injuries occur all the time but this one was shocking in it's scope. Just sucked the oxygen out of the whole game. Only other time I can recall that happening was when the Lions WR Chuck Hughes collapsed and died on the field from a heart attack in a game against the Bears.
Okay, a free winner. Tonight I am turning to hoops. The NBA to be exact. Suggesting a small wager on Quin Snyders young Utah Jazz laying the four points to the visiting Thunder. Right now you will be laying four at most shops. It's my gues this line climbs some through the day.
On the business side we swept the Triples this past weekend and I have already loaded up a Triple Star release for one of the thursday college football games. Long term these releases are up 268 units. I also have been informed this morning that I am one of the slash handicappers meaning my 7 and 30 day packages are discounted until thursday by 20%. The College Subscriptions are also still up but the clock is ticking. I am honestly not certain when they come down. This is an offer that runs clear through all of march madness. Based on volume from last year when you broke it down it come out to around a buck seventy per selection. Lasts season I hit at a 58% clip for the season and ended up 48 units. But, I am telling you that the season will have swings, just like every other sport. What I am driving at is as always self discipline and money management are the foundation for success. Without it your chances for success are zero. Not 1%, zero. Just telling it like it is. Okay, a ton of work to do with all the hoops and football and this isn't getting it done. Back to work.
Many thanks as always and best of luck today guys.
