Mavericks minus 3 1/2 at Hornets
The Mavericks have won three in a row, the last two by blowouts allowing them to rest their starters. So there will be no fatigue factor for them.
The Hornets, on the other hand, just got through playing four games on the West Coast. Their road trip concluded Saturday night.
The Hornets are banged-up. They could be missing several of their rotation players, including stalwart defender Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. This would really hurt Charlotte as Dallas leads the NBA in scoring at 109.5 points per game and is second in field goal percentage.
The Mavericks are getting balanced scoring, rebounding in the middle from Tyson Chandler and their guards are not turning the ball over.
Dallas also has a strong long-term history on the road, too, covering 71 percent of their past 74 away matchups.
In addition to this free selection, I have double-star plays going on the Steelers-Titans game and on an NBA total. I have won five of my last six Monday Night NFL plays and am 19-9 on my past 28 paid/free NBA plays.
As always, no bad luck!
