Magic Johnson! One of the most charismatic and talented players to ever grace the court of an NBA arena. Hard to imagine it was 23 years ago today that he announced he had been diagnosed with the AIDS virus and was retiring from basketball. I can still recall sitting in my office that morning when the news broke, At that period when folks said they had AIDS it was basically a death sentence. Thankfully Johnson is still with us.
Okay, a free winner. Tonight I am suggesting a small wager on the surprising kings as they venture down to Phoenix to mee the Suns. You should be able to catch 5.5 points and I expect a close one here. The Suns are looking to rebound from a miserable performance at home the other night against the Grizzlies. Too many points here in my view.
On the business side we had a nice easy winner last night with the Browns over the Bengals. NO, I am not proclaiming myself the God of Pregame, Good Lord Agnes the ego's some are saddled with. There's counseling available for folks with issues like that. On a more serious note I have a couple of big plays loaded up for this weekend. My Big 12 Game of the Year goes saturday. It's a game I have been waiting for all season long and I like the way it sets up. No, it is no lock. The only lock is that if it goes down some knucklehead who bet more than he should have will show up pouting and stomping his feet like a spoiled child who didn't find what he wanted under the christmas tree. That my friends is a lock. Guaranteed! It's sports betting and things happen. Hate to break it to you but even the coach's don't know exactly what is going to happen once the thing kicks off. What this is in my opinon is a game where the line is off and there is a helluva great chance we cash. Nothing more. In the NFL I have my Triple Star featured release also up and loaded. We've cashed now on 29 of the last 36 NFL Triples. I will be honestly shocked if this one is not another easy winner. Once again, no it's not a lock. But we have hit on 80% of these over the past two seasons.
Finally, the offer for the college basketball and NBA packages will soon expire. That is in the hands of the home office so I don't know exactly when it runs out. But it is a legit good value for those who want to wager on hoops. Last season in the college games I hit at a solid 58% clip over a 261 game span and garnered 48 units profit. NBA was a break even proposition. But historically I've done well with the pro game. When you consider this is a subscrption that runs clear through the finals in june it makes sense. The best way to approach it is find a capper you trust over the long run and hire him and let him do his work. Of course we all know most people bounce around all over like a super ball from service to service in a quest to find that hot capper who hardly ever loses. If you locate him please let me know and I will retire and hire him myself. I've been involved in sports betting since the 70's and have yet to see the dude.
That is it for now. No pulse of the Missouri Tigers football team this week. They have a bye. Take care and best of luck guys. Remember, serious, winning sports bettors use old fashioned principles like self discipline and money management. The others are the ones who constantly pay their man or reload accounts. The decision is yours.
