Ever felt like you've bitten off more than you can chew? Well I accepted the role of pulse keeper over the Mizzou Tigers for R.J and it's been a roller coaster ride with this bunch to say the very least. If there is a more unpredictable club around I am open to suggestions as to who it might be. I can say that last week here I suggested bettors hit the Tigers at Florida as I was anticipating a strong effort coming off the Georgia debacle. Well, we got it. At least from the defense and special teams. The offense, well, sucks right now. Gary Pinkel is desperately trying to figure out how to fix things in mideseason. Not exactly ideal. You're always tweaking things but an overhaul at this juncture is not practical. This is getting scary, looking at the final score of 42-13 one would think the offense had broken loose. Get this, entering the Gators game this Tiger offense and generated an anemic two third down conversions in 23 chances during their first pair of conference games. Good grief. Even in the blow out at the swamp the team accumulated a paltry seven first down overall. What is scary also is the fact they had all three senior wideouts on the field for the first time in weeks at Mauk's disposal. Something is clearly broken. Just one mans opinion but to me Maty Mauk is out there on very weak pins right now from a confidence standpoint. Saturday night he was a miserable 6 of 18 for 20 yards. Seriously! It goes to show what Pinkle really thinks of the back up when even these no shows by Mauk cannot get him on the field. Now this week the SEC mutt Vanderbilt comes into Columbia for homecoming and if ever there was a time to snap out of it's offensive funk this should be it. I can tell you I would not bet this game unless a gun was pointed into my forehead. Could very well look like Moe & Curly slapping one another around to determine who the toughest stooge is. I suggest pass. I realize I am being rough on them but frankly they should be better than this. This group on offense is under achieving. And yes, it's causing some friction within the walls. I'm a fan but also call it like I see it. Pass on this one guys.
On the business side I hit both Triple Stars last weekend. In college we cashed easily with Kansas State getting the outright at Oklahoma. Then sunday in the NFL we cashed easily with the Vikings as they narrowly missed getting the outright at Buffalo. We are currently up 14 units profit in football this season. I already have the Triple Star featured release for college action loaded up. I love the match up even more than last weeks winner and that's the truth. Hopefully I will have my NFL Triple loaded and ready by tomorrow morning. We have now cashed in on 27 of the last 33 NFL Triple Stars over the last two seasons. 81% on those featured releases. All fully documented. Okay, back to work guys. Good luck as always and enjoy the games! Remember, self discipline and money management are what separates the men from the flock in this business.
