Ray Rice just claimed another victim. No this wasn't another woman he knocked unconscious. The latest to get in trouble commenting about Rice is Max Kellerman, who was suspended by ESPN for "inappropriate conversation" about Rice and domestic violence.
Just recently ESPN suspended Stephen A. Smith for making stupid comments about domestic violence when talking about Rice knocking out his girlfriend turned wife. Smith's comments were moronic, but I have a real problem with ESPN's heavy handed approach.
ESPN hires people to give opinions knowing the more controversial the higher the rating. Then when these opinions aren't deemed politically correct, ESPN acts like the morality cops and suspends them.
Maybe ESPN should open an office in Russia. Actually, having taught English in Russia I can tell you first-hand you can say a lot more politically incorrect things there than in the U.S. Just about anything goes in Russia as long as you don't rip Putin.
On the handicapping front, I'm looking to follow up my 2-0 Sunday with one play today. It's a two-star play that I definitely believe is mispriced with a superior pitching matchup and rare situational spot. It can be found here: /pregamepros/pro-bettor/bettor.aspx?id=7746#capper. Please note my NFL season package is now available for purchase at the lowest price anywhere. I'm going for my 19th winning NFL season in the last 21 years.
As always, no bad luck!
