A huge THANKS to those of you who have been buying my picks (daily and long-term). We've been having great success and I'm glad to be helping you win money.
My last freebie was on Tuesday when we cashed on the Tigers over Oakland, 5-3. Since coming to Pregame five months ago, I have given out 57% winners with these freebies.
Before I get into today's freebie and pick for sale, I wanted to give some background about how I do business. I figure this will help those of you who are not too familiar with me.
-
I release anywhere from 6 to 10 plays per week. I normally only release 1 play per day, but do release 2 plays on some days. My 2-pick days are more common during football season. But I always end up with 6 to 10 plays per week. That's my 10 Bets per Week Plan.
-
My plays are rated 1 unit (your normal wager amount), 2 units (twice your normal wager amount), and 3 units (3x your normal wager amount). I'm not one of those cappers who uses inflated rating systems (example: 100*) to make my picks seemingly worth more.
-
95% of my picks are either 1 unit or 2 units. I usually only have about two 3-unit plays per month, but that will vary.
-
I use this rating system as a money management tool only. There's nothing "touty" about it.
-
I have kept records of all my plays since coming to Pregame. I keep them on an Excel spreadsheet. These records are available to you upon request. I have absolutely nothing to hide.
-
I always include analysis on my 2-unit and 3-unit plays. These are higher-rated plays and I feel some reasoning is needed to explain why I'm advising you to bet more on these plays. I include analysis on 1-unit plays when time permits.
-
I'm in the forum when time permits, whether I'm winning or losing.
-
I do not make excuses when I'm losing. It happens to everyone, so I don't feel excuses are necessary.
-
If you're a paying client, feel free to slam me when I'm losing. It doesn't help me start winning again, but I understand the need to vent. And chances are, I'll be venting right along with you.
I think that gives you a pretty good idea as to how I do business. Speaking of business, I'm releasing my Friday Baseball Best Bet BLOWOUT. If you're thinking about buying this pick, consider this:

Today's Half-unit Freebie
#921 Seattle (Hernandez) at Boston (Wakefield) UNDER 8.5 Even, 7:10 pm ET
Summary: Felix Hernandez has allowed two or fewer earned runs in each of his last seven starts, going 4-0 with a 0.85 ERA. Hernandez is 3-1 with a 3.05 ERA in six starts against the Red Sox, and he's been undaunted by the challenge of pitching at Fenway Park, tossing 15 shutout innings in winning his two starts there. Felix also owns a 1.72 ERA in 9 road starts this season.
Tim Wakefield had a 1.80 ERA in two starts against Seattle last season. The 42-year-old also went 4-0 with a 3.45 ERA in five June starts. And let's not forget about the Boston bullpen. Red Sox relievers are tied for the major league lead with a 3.18 ERA.
The Under is 13-3-3 in Boston's last 19 home games, and 6-1 in Boston's last 7 games with the total set at 7 to 8.5. The Under is 11-1 in the Mariners' last 12 road games with the total set at 7 to 8.5, and 13-3 in Hernandez's last 16 starts vs. AL East foes. The Under is also 5-1-1 in the last 7 meetings.
I'd say the UNDER is worth a shot here for a half-unit.
Let's do some MAJOR DAMAGE today, fellas!
