Thanks for the compliment Denver!!!  I just like the discussion whether what I say is right or wrong.  The forum is a pretty cool place, and I've only been posting in it since November.

I will make my opinion very short. I do not make any money here at pregame. Perhaps minumum wage. Adding another Handicapper is not going to change that either way. Had we stopped a while ago we would not have DB, Spartan, Evan, GF, Tony G, and some others as well that have added a lot here. Adding Bookie Bill is good for pregame, not the current Handicappers. In my case I really don't care. I post here because I just happen to like this place and the people that operate this site.

Just my two cents, I skimmed over this thread and some others on similar topics.  I visit daily, post rarely.

It's a fact that Pregame is a business providing a service to the rest of us and I appreciate the job they do.  The perception is that, over the past year, everytime a poster providing their two cents and information gets "hot", Pregame all of the sudden starts selling their services.

So my message to Pregame is that I don't think anyone faults you for offerring more paid services.  The way it's often done gives the perception that it's more about making a buck than it is about fulfilling your mission statement.

No, my "slice of the pie" analogy is NOT false. It just differs from your opinion. We've already discussed this over the phone a long time ago and then again a while ago through email. I said it then and I'll say it one more time: We're just going to have to agree to disagree on this issue and move on.

    And on that note...

Re: Is "More" Really "Better" ?

I think quality over quantity, but that does not mean it should be only 5 cappers vs 20........like someone said, weed out the underperformer.....have to agree about sales, a big play is going to sell vs a guy who only puts out reg plays even if he is really good........people go for the sizzle, thats why u see so many guys on the net with 500 star  or 5k unit play etc.

I don't know what everyone bets but I'm small player, I enjoy it and stay within my means so paying 25 /day or 350/month makes no sense unless the guy can hit 70% month after month, which is impossible.

From sales point it might be better for Pregame to sell picks for lower cost as the small players are usually the ones that need help to win vs the big bettors..

100 monthly sales at 100/month is better than 20 at 350/month

I know there is the $6 deal now but that is only one capper each day.

if a guy bets $100/game and pays 350/month  and wins 60of 100 bets then he nets 450 after pkg cost....+ money but still almost half his profits went to pay the capper,,,,at less than 60% then  even less.

a very popular capper that left here is one I will be buying for NFL.......why? he is very good and the price  , just over 500 for season, is reasonable for me to pay and make nice profit ...other cappers I would have to pay 1400 for sept-dec , a big difference.......if I can get quality plus profit why spend an xtra 900?

Pregame is a business , and price is key to any business being profitable but also affordable to the customer.
