No that's not a good point because if you do x and y as a mechanic, then the car is fixed.  If you handicap a game the correct way then you can still lose...case in Boston on Tuesday when I had my AL Game of the Month...yes I'm still bitter.

Was that the game that Boston was up 62-1 and lost 62-63 against Baltimore? Yes, too lazy to look it up.

Yup. Baltimore was down like 10 runs.

I honestly thought it was a typo.  I was happy because Boston was leading like 10-6 when I checked the score.  Then I look back to see the final, and I see Baltimore won 11-10.  Ridiculous, but those things show why it is IMPOSSIBLE to hit like 70-80% winners long-term.  Fluke things happen like that, which means you will have right side losers more than lucky wins if you're good at handicapping.  Just the way things go sometimes.

Thanks Evan for making me re-live the Boston Massacre from Tuesday Night. Listen to the podcast this week you'll hear all the details. But for the short version Boston cost me 3-0 Sweep and I have to replace my phone that I broke when Baltimore went up 11-10....

    :(

Marco, if it's any consolation you should get a blackberry storm for your new phone.  They're pretty cool.  Although you might be a little too old to understand how to use the technology, hehe.
