If GB had any sense, they would sit Rogers and let Favre start.

You are trying to win a super bowl this year...who gives you the better chance to do that? Favre is an easy choice.

Looks like 'ol Brett doesn't have any sense...

The Packers reportedly have Brett Favre's phone records that included "repeated calls" to Vikings head coach Brad Childress and offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell.

It's unbelievable Favre was brazen enough not to consider this biting him in the ass. He's either out of touch with reality or thought the Packers would be more loyal to him (even if it helps their division rivals). If this proves true, the Packers may pick up a draft pick from the NFL

I got an idea, an idea so smart my head would explode if I even began to know what I was talking about.

Re: What HAPPENS with Brett Favre?

The NFL Network reported Tuesday that the Packers had spoken to several teams to gauge their interest in a trade for Favre. Tampa Bay officials have publicly downplayed interest in trading for Favre, but Buccaneers quarterback Chris Simms told the St. Petersburg Times that Bucs general manager Bruce Allen asked him about Favre last week.

He asked if I felt Brett would be able to come back and be good here if he didnt have a lot of reps in training camp, Simms said, according to the paper. I said I thought he would but there would have to be some compromise with coach (Jon) Gruden. Hell just want the play called and to drop back and throw it in there. But its something we talked about.

Gruden was a Packers assistant coach from 1992-94 and runs a version of the West Coast offense Favre would be familiar with.
