FANS DIDN'T SHOW UP - I SHOULD SAY.

YEA, YEA - 'STUDENTS NOT BACK'...

LIKE HELL THEY AREN'T BACK - THEY ARE BACK, JUST NOT IN SCHOOL QUITE YET....AND THAT EXCUSE DOESN'T FLY ANYWHERE ELSE.

STUDENTS WERE ALL OVER - AND YOU'D NEVER KNOW THERE WAS A FOOTBALL GAME GOING ON EVEN WHILE WALKING THRU CAMPUS 90 MIN BEFORE GAMETIME...

NICE STADIUM, YES. NOT QUITE AS 'AWE INSPIRING' AS I'D HEARD. VERY UTILITARIAN - COOKIE CUTTER NEW SMALL 2-DECKER, MINI PRO-PLAYER LOOK AND FEEL TO IT....OR OUTDOOR ARCO ARENA STYLE, STOP SIGN-THING...

I LOVE THE STRAIGHT UP DECKS, LIKE IN CORVALLIS ON NEW SIDE. WOULD HAVE BEEN LOUD .....IF ANYONE WAS THERE.

THEY SURE AS HELL DIDN'T SHOW UP....

ALMOST AS MANY OF US IN ORANGE THAN THE FU-FU STANFORD ARISTOCRATS.

CAN'T BELIEVE I CALLED THEM:

.....'WHAT DOES STANFORD CALL THEIR ACT?'

THEY LOOKED PRETTY SOLID. BRUTAL SCHEDULE THOUGH.....MANY, MANY KEY SR'S IN FARM....GONNA DROP OFF AGAIN NXT YR FOR STAN.

Matty,

I was at Stanford Stadium in 2004 when they got smashed by USC. I swear I thought I was at a USC home game. The USC fans were 5 to 1, EASY. I also went to the Season opener against Navy 2 years ago. Great Renovations, Stadium looks waaaaaaay better....too bad you couldn't say the same about the football team. Anyways, we'll see how they fare this year. I used to have two buddies (athletic trainers) working for the football team, but they've gone off to BETTER things.

TXGOLFER...damn brother that sounds like a plan and it would be awesome to do...I am willing to put it on at my home and we that way we can use the pool and I've got an outside bar set up in my yard with 2 TV's so we can catch the games as well...I really think that we should try to put something like that on and as long as you don't mind taking care of the cooking..I'll get you the supplies needed and also make sure we are stocked with plenty of drinks...May even have my wife call over a few hot friends for the lucky single men...VR

I keep checking back on this thread....because it is going to be GREAT info......I know i told ACE a long time ago I would come to Vegas and cook up some Texas BBQ like he has never tasted (and won't believe), but I think that all the Pregame staff (and families) should be invited when it happens......a buddy and I have cooked for 100+ at several Houston Texans tailgating events......so let's get it on!!
