Last night I took my wife to see
Jersey Boys at the Palazzo here in Las Vegas for Valentine's Day, and I must say this is the best show I have seen to date. I don't want to spoil it for anybody who wants to see it, but there is a lot of great music history I learned about regarding
Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. For example, did you know
Joe Pesci was partially responsible for bringing this supergroup together?
The song for our first wedding dance was Valli's
Can't Take My Eyes Off You, so Jersey Boys had extra meaning for us. However, this show is so well done that I think anybody who appreciates music would enjoy it immensely. I would definitely recommend seeing it on your next trip to Vegas ahead of anything else.
The Palazzo itself is also a very fun place to hang out. My wife won over $100 playing slots, and we had dinner before the show at
Mario Batali's Carnevino Italian Steakhouse. If you are going to hang out anywhere on the Strip, you have to check out the
Palazzo and
Venetian.
