I still can't believe that Eagles QB Donovan McNabb didn't know there was such a thing as a tie in the NFL
"I've never been a part of a tie. I never even knew that was in the rule book," McNabb said after the game. "It's part of the rules, and we have to go with it. I was looking forward to getting the opportunity to get out there and try to drive to win the game. But unfortunately, with the rules, we settled with a tie."
Some of you have already talked about this on the Forums, and I think there is only one solution: Send him back to the 'Cuse. With Syracuse head coach Greg Robinson getting fired on Sunday, there is an immediate opening. The Eagles will reportedly save $9 million in 2009 by cutting him loose, so why not send him back to school?
After all, the Orange football program has not been the same since he left, and I believe he's already done everything he can in the NFL. Plus, I think he can still learn a thing or two in college
